2012 Historic Preservation Awards

On Tuesday, May 15, PPS hosted the 2012 Historic Preservation Awards at Brown University’s Nelson Fitness Center. The award ceremony recognized significant contributions to the preservation and revitalization of Providence's historic resources. The lead architect of the Nelson Fitness Center, Gary L. Brewer from Robert A.M. Stern Architects, LLP provided the keynote address. The Brown University Facilities Staff was also on hand to give tours of the Fitness Center. Eleven preservation projects or individuals from 2011 received awards (scroll down for more information):
